    Smile Question

Ok, what are those little hats that the construction guys wear under their helmets? They are reversible and look pretty easy to make, but I don't know what they are called...............and does anyone have a pattern for them?

Doo rags. They are like a bandana...which also works. You should be able to google doo rags and come up with a pattern. Also, they sell a lot on motorcycle sites.

we have those as well but what I am looking for is a little different, looks like a scrub cap on the head and has a little bill on it.

We had some that sound similar but they were painters caps. My dad's friend did nouse painting and he gave the kids a few to play dress up with.

A beanie? Take a look at a place that has welding supplies. If you can get one, take it apart and make your own pattern. Don't make it bigger for a seam allowance. Sew it together so there isn't a bump when you turn it the right way. surger or zig zag stitch. old jeans wear better than thin cotton.
They are basically two 1/2 circles and a strip.

skull caps. My girls use them under hockey helmets. There are 2 kinds, one with elastic and a stretchy fabric. And the second a cotton, looks like a scrub cap but ties at the back.
