Carmex tip.....:)
Ok, just how many of the little tubes of Carmex have I used in my lifetime?! I had a lightbulb moment the other night...I thought it was empty...I wonder.. SO--I took a pair of scissors, cut the tube in half and was able to squeeze another weeks worth out. Then... I cut off near the cap..WOW-there's alot left in the cap area. So now I'm thinking--hand cream tubes, toothpaste........

Yep, I've been known to cut tubes. You can still get a lot more use out of them

I've only bought carmex in the little jar/w/lid, but I know what ya mean....I've been cutting open almost every container to see how much else I can get out of it.

Very useful tip. I have the carmax in a jar but I do this with toothpaste.

I buy it in the chapstick format or pot...but I would do the same. Its a great product and great price...why wouldn't you try to extend what you have left and get the most bang for your buck?

I did this with a not inexpensive facial moisturizer - the pump kind - I was able to get another week's worth by getting the top off and shaking it out!! Felt soooo good!
