    Default Apple Cider Vinegar

When cooking any kind of beef, in crock pot or oven, pierce with a fork, add 3 or 4 drops of vinegar to the meat, it will be so tender it falls apart!

I heard a man on the radio yesterday tell how he uses apple cider vinegar as a marinade - how much easier your method would be if you didn't have time to marinate a cut of meat. You might find the article at this link interesting...

Vinegar is an acid, I usually have some sort in any marinade I use. That or a splash of wine, which does the same thing.

There is so many good uses for ACV, it's crazy. . You can use it as an egg replacer in baking. (this I do) You can take a few shots a day to improve everything from your skin/ hair to your over all health. Too tired to type it all, but google has good info. I always have organic ACV in the house.

I always use the vinegar substitute for buttermilk. It is great stuff and I have started making flavored ACV.....good stuff for recipes.

Thanks GL...I think I will read the website for the feet info.....as the bag balm and socks just isn't doing it.

The price on our vinegar has really increased in the last year.......part must be due to all the canning. Was in WM twice and they had NO GALLON jugs of it at all!!

I add vinegar when I make Chicken Stock or Beef Stock to help extract calcium from the bones to make a mineral-rich stock. (Broth Is Beautiful - http://www.westonaprice.org/foodfeatures/broth.html)

The least expensive white distilled vinegar I can find is at Sam's Club (I use it in the laundry and general cleaning). It comes two 1-gallon jugs to a box. It's end-of-the-garden season and time to harvest the last of the herbs and make herb vinegar.

I use Bragg Raw-Unfiltered Organic Apple Cider Vinegar in the kitchen. Lovely stuff.....

I just use a tsp or two in a small mug of hot water and honey according to taste when I get an itchy tickly throat. Usually kills off the germs
