    Default Rug Wrinkles: HELP!!

I need some great tips on getting rid of wrinkles in a rug. I bought a runner for the hall. It has a latex backing. The rug had been very tightly rolled up, and it simply will not lose the wrinkles when I lay it out straight.

    Here's what I have tried:
    1. I put it in the washer and drier (no heat, just fluff).
    2. I put heavy boxes on it.

Neither of these took out the wrinkles. Any suggestions?

Carpet tape is the only solution I can think of.

Depending on your weather outside....and what the rug is make out of........my suggestion would be to get it wet with plain water, and then let it dry naturally outside. Turn it every so often so both sides gets air. I have a nice porch rail that I hang my rugs over.

Have you tried rolling the rug up ...in reverse...the opposite way it was before ? Maybe that will help it.
