    Default Keeping your Curls.

My hair has natural curl to it, but it is very fine.

I read an article awhile back on how to "keep"
your curls. I tried it and have never looked
    back.

After you wash your hair, use PAPER TOWELS
to remove the excess moisture. I scrunch
my hair with the paper towels lightly while
I am bent over. I then use mousse which I
just very lightly pat on. Then I stand up slowly &
let the curls fall into place naturally. When my
hair is dry, I just bend over and back up and
the curls become more natural from their drying
    look.

I bought the Herbal Essence "Totally Twisted"
line of products to help also, and love them.
    No frizz!

I had been wrapping my hair in a towel as most
of us do and it was flattening any curls that
    may have developed!

    Hope this helps someone else!!

I'm curly too. May I suggest a book called "Curly Girl" [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Curly-Girl-Lorraine-Massey/dp/0761123008/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1259433562&sr=8-1"]http://www.amazon.com/Curly-Girl-Lorraine-Massey/dp/0761123008/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1259433562&sr=8-1[/ame] It has helped me accept the curl. Here's a quick down and dirty synopsis [ame="http://www.wikihow.com/Follow-the-Curly-Girl-Method-for-Curly-Hair"]http://www.wikihow.com/Follow-the-Curly-Girl-Method-for-Curly-Hair[/ame]

I find that if I let my hair air-dry, it has a LOT more body than if I leave it wrapped up in a towel or even if I blow dry it. However, because my hair is pretty thick, it takes FOREVER to dry.

Unfortunately, even if I could do that, my sister has claimed dibs.

Wow, thanks for the tip! My youngest daughter has hair like yours and I have been so-o-o frustrated since her hair would look so good right after washing, but nothing but frizz later.

My hair is long and on the thick side. If after I wash it I put it up in a clip it can take up until the next day to dry.

Long it's wavy, short it curls up. Little short tendrils at nap of neck looks like corkscrews. Bangs also.
