    Cool Don't throw away mail from Nielsen!

    ~I almost threw away a large envelope from Nielson(the television programming research company)but my DH suggested they might pay for cable if we reviewed it. I thought that was a really long shot but opened the envelope anyway. $10 in cash was inside with a survey. :O The survey took 4 minutes and as a thank you they're sending me another $20.
    So if you get mail from them, open it! I almost threw away cash.~

    They might follow that up with an offer to join their ratings panel. We get $10 per person per month for carrying a meter.

    i did that once... did the survey, i mean.
    11% gross to retirement
    10% takehome to tithe and offerings
    emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500
    mortgage free
    freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
    then live on the rest!

    i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

    This happened to me before. I did not know if the money in it was fake or not but it was real! They sent me a total of $60!!!

    That is the only reason I open what looks like junk mail. I get envelopes like that in the mail quite often . Don't you love found money?

    once I had one like that it was $5 . They called first through surveys and I said yes I would do the survey. It was all about internt, tv and telephone and cells.

    ok, I am on the panel for groceries and I get points. It takes about a million of them to get anything though. I got ripped off!

    I never heard of Nielson before until a few months ago when they called our house for a survey. Dh was being all nice and talking and I was like what?? lol. They mailed us 5 bucks just for that.

    i've gotten one similar for radio listening habits. ended up with $10 for 5 minutes worth of time. I open all of the mail even the junk stuff since it won't go through the shredder if it's all folded up in the envelope.
