I bought 6 cans of the 23 oz size today of the Chase & Sanborn at Sav A Lot for $ 3 each. So added to the stockpile. Now it gives me time to look around for another bargain. If I find one, I stock up some more

FYI - For long-term storage, it's suggested you buy green (unroasted) coffee beans and vacuum-seal or store them in mylar bags with oxygen absorbers in them AND sealed. Roast and grind your beans as needed. You can find them hermetically sealed in #10 cans (check the internet for sources).

If you ever switch from store-bought coffee (roasted beans or ground) to using green beans and roasting and grinding your own, you'll never believe what you've missed!!!

I get my coffee at Dollar General. Folgers Country Roast. Never seen it in stores. The large can, don't know how many ounces. It's always $6 and they take coupons if you can find any on Folgers.

I am wondering if coffee is rising in price.

Current sale at Sav a Lot this week, is Chase & Sanborn at
$ 3.99 for a 23 oz can. Which is a $ 1 more a can than the last time I bought it. I bought 3 cans. I wasn't out, but trying to stay ahead. I am going to put the date on these cans, so I use up the older ones first.

    Note to self......
put a price book in my purse....even if it is just a piece of paper in with my coupons. I need to track some of these prices more. Especially what I want to stock up on.
