Default Don't throw away that old razor.

    Great tip.

Waiting for my blade to get dull.
You can use a pair of Jeans to sharpen it.

This shows how to sharpen multi-blade razor blade cartridges after they have exhausted their normal usefulness...

Just tried it. Works like a charm. Better sell your Procter & Gamble stock soon if you have any!

P.S. I sharpened the blade on my forearm!

Oh I'm gonna try this! I have one of those expensive disposable razors (that I got free!) but it's pretty dull now, so looking forward to trying this and sharpening it up. It's very rare I find a new usuable frugal tip any more so this is pretty exciting!

It is best to do it when the blade is dull. It will allow you to really see the difference.

Let me know how it goes on your side. I used the forearm technique and it worked pretty good! I'm sure the Jeans one is as good too. I don't think you need any type of sharpening tool. Just Jeans or forearm.

Will be trying this today since I need a new cartridge soon and I really have been putting it off ( mainly by shaving less! HAHA) but now the warm weather is approaching so it's time to find a way to save $$ on these things since I shave so often in the summer.

    Thanks!!
