i had the same problem a few years back and i hate to throw anything away before i completely know its broken so i found out that when i took the cover off it had a fuse that you can only get an appliance store that does repair so i just took the fuse with me and had them sell me another new one and went back home and put it in then put the cover back on and guess what its still in my kitchen working today-just a little tip-lots of microwaves get thrown out and replaced when all it needs is a 3.00 fuse---hope you like the tip
