large soda bottles
well my latest project is saving the large soda bottles. we drink a lot of diet soda so im saving them and after i wash them out with hot soapy water i fill them with water and i put a drop of bleach in each one and store the water in my basement for emergency's like when the water service gets stoped for some reason or the other-last winter our water was off for 2 days due to a frozen and burst main so im just preparing for the worst--ill use and rotate them as i go along like when we go fishing we just take a couple with to have water to drink or if we want to we can just heat some in a pan and make soup or something lol-i never try to wast anything hope you like my tip --hugs fv

Good tip. I was just putting the extra water I collect in bottles to use when the power goes out and I can flush the toilet. Never thought to put bleach in it as I didn't plan to drink it. Do I need to put bleach in it?

At preschool we also cut the tops off put rocks in the bottom and use them for planters.Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.
