Exclamation If you shop Amazon u might read this....

This came in an email today on a consumer bulletin I take.

If you shop Amazon there is a new scam going on and you might want to be aware of this.........sounds like a tricky one.

I received one a few weeks ago that said something like "Updated shipping information on your order." Thankfully, I realized it was a scam.

A good reminder to NEVER do anything with an online merchant except directly through their website you went to directly, not through an email!

Just be at the 'top of your game' when you are looking at your email...............guess that is all we can do.

I will OFTEN forget to look at the http line when I am on-line.

Thanks for the info. I'm shopping Amazon less and less as they charge me tax on an item no matter where it's from.

    Thanks.
I always, always type in the website myself to get directly to the website when shopping online. But you still must be very careful.

I don't ............I will often have it in my favorites and just click on it.

Wonder how hard it is for someone to hijack/change stuff in there?

    Anyone know????????????
