    Hello! I am trying to find some answers about canning meats??

    I think you would need a pressure cooker in order to can meats.
    CC#1: $400/1,000

    yes meat must be pressure canned.

    You need a pressure canner for meats.

    I got one of those for 8 dollars at a thrift store a few years ago. I haven't canned yet and it cost 179???????Wow

    Yeah, new they are kind of expensive. That brand doesn't use any gaskets or seals, and can apparently last decades with no issues. I wasn't able to find one used around here, and got tired of waiting. Totally worth the price, though.
