I regularly pour milk (from a gallon of 2% milk) into several small sterile jam jars and freeze them. Then I thaw them as needed, in the fridge; the cream melts first, and I pour it off into a fresh sterile jar for coffee cream; the rest of the jar thaws as skim or 1 % milk, which I use on my cereal, or for baking. Haven't bought coffee cream in years, and never been sick from this little money-saver either.

~ use cloth napkins instead of paper
~ use rags instead of paper towels
~ use cloth diapers, at least while at home
~ use vinegar and baking soda to clean almost everything!
~ trim you dogs nails yourself - if you don't know how, ask someone to teach you, or ask the vet's office to teach you.
~ bathe your dog at home
~ you can buy dog/cat vaccines at your local feed store. Have someone teach you how to administer - you can do everything EXCEPT Rabies, a licensed vet has to administer Rabies vaccs. (a 3 year Rabies vacc is many times less expensive)
~ when I had an older style washer, I could recycle my little one's bath water into the wash basin. Saved water.
~ use a rain barrel - even if it's just buckets, catch that rain water to use for houseplants or gardens
~ don't toss your coffee or tea down the drain, feed it to the plants instead.
~ reuse all scrap paper for lists, doodles, etc.
~ Keep your car as empty as possible for better gas mileage.
That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
I'm horrible at hanging my clothes on the line because I live in a HOA neighborhood that doesn't "allow" clotheslines. I have to hide it. Since new neighbors moved in next door, I can't hang outside - The old neighbors were never home, or never outside and didn't care.

1. Use old rags for cleaning. Jus toss them in with a load of towels when you are done.
2. If you have old worn-out clothes that are not even donate worthy, be sure to harvest buttons and zippers before you cut them into rags.
3. Check the markdown meats at the grocery store. You never know what you might find.
4. Use that sewing machine! If you can mend something do so...it's way cheaper than buying a new item.
5. Coupon! Combine those coupons with sales to save even more. But remember it's only a good deal if it is something you will use. $1.00 off peanut butter is a nice coupon but if you hate peanut butter, just pass that coupon to someone else.
6. Be as miserly as you are comfortable with regarding utilities.
7. Use the library!
8. Vinegar is a great cleaner and fabric softener, give it a try.Never underestimate the power of frugality!

Camp when you travel instead of staying in hotels.
Have a good quality five-day cooler to use to bring along your food when you travel instead of eating in restaurants, even for day trips.
Buy stainless steel reusable water bottles to avoid buying bottled water when you travel.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Each year I either buy or receive a couple rolls of paper towels. Rarely use them because I like using rags. Anytime I use a paper towel I think it is a special moment. Seriously. lol
Make sure to label your food that you are freezing. It is amazing how frozen food starts to look the same. A permanent marker and some masking tape from the dollar store will fix that. Any reuseable container gets a piece of masking tape and name put on the container. If you need to add the date you packed it.

DO NOT waste food - so many $$$ down the drain when you toss food. Make soups, make casseroles, use left overs for pizza toppings. . . anything but throw it away.
I dehydrate left over bits of veggies and make my own soup starter. Potato peels become cheesy appetizer lunches, fruits beginning to be overripe become fruit leathers, smoothies, jams. . .

If you work outside of the house pack your lunch.
Use half the laundry soap or make your own soap.
Unplug all items that are not being used. (charger not being used at that time) I saved $20.00 on my month bill the first month I did this.
Use half the amount of shampoo and conditioner.
Use half the amount of tooth paste.
This is just a few items that I do that has saved me $$$
