I use the bags for cat box cleaning as well as cleaning up after my dog when we're on walks. I work at our local library and we take them for reuse. We live in the land of soggy muck (Oregon) and we need soemthing to protect the patrons' books during the rainy season.

my grandmother used to cut them into strips and knit bags with them, i also read that you can use them in place of beans for the bean bag chairs, but you would need an awfull lot of them!

I used them when we moved. I wadded them up around breakables and between picture frames etc. I also use them instead of packing peanuts when I ship gifts.

    I use bags for:

empty out the cat box, empty out the diaper pail, carry them in the car for dirty diapers, I double them up to get rid of the mystery meat in the fridge, sort the recyclables- paper, glass and cans, they make great luch bags, keep one by the dryer for all the lint and junk people forgot to take out of their pockets. And I use a huge bag to store the smaller bags. That's all I can think of for now.

I use them for disposing of dirty diapers, both on the road and at home, for my dh to bring his lunch in, and to line the small wastebaskets in my house.

Since we canceled our garbage pickup, we burn our paper trash (so no one gets things with our name on it) and dispose of other stuff in one of these little bags. When it is about half full (2 days maybe) I tie it up and whoever goes to town gets rid of it. There is a dumpster where dh works, one at the storage unit we use too. (yeah, it's okay for us to put our bags there). It's amazing how easy it has been to cut our trash down from half a big wheeled garbage can a week to just about three or four of those little shopping bags a week (plus maybe a2 gallon bucket of burnables).

I found myself using these as a makeshift diaper pad cover.

I like that bib idea JALCCLARK! Most of my bags are used for diapers. Cuts the odor down a lot. I line the bathroom trash can with them too and keep a few in the van just in case someone starts to feel car sick. (Knock on wood nobody's needed to use one for this purpose yet!)

I also use them to line the small garbage cans in the bathrooms- Pick up the doggie do- and carry my lunch to work in. I keep some in the car for muddy baseball shoes and incase anyone gets car sick. I store mine in a large tin that had popcorn in it (christmas gift)
I also use them to fluff out my balloon valances -instead of crumpled up tissue paper. Just pull out the bags to wash the valances and re-stuff when dry.

I hate those darn bags! LOL they dont hold enough groceries and then you see them littering trees and the side of the road all the time .........but of course I have em allllll in my house LOL.....
I also use them to stuff things...like valences....and last year , when Jake needed to be a snake for his school play, I made him a BIG tail, and stuffed it witht the plastic bags, made the coolest crinkly slithery snake sound!

I keep mine in an old box that kitchen trash bags came in...I just mounted it on a wall in my pantry, then stuffed it full of those darn bags. Makes them very handy.
