Floor tips
For kitchen-floors and counters. Use a brillo pad on floors to remove black scuff marks. It keeps the shine and actually cleans the floor better than anything have ever used. Same for the counter. It works great on stains of any kind. In both cases, just gently rub in circular motions until the stain is gone ( Use soapy pads that are damp)
For removal of black scuff marks on linoleum floors, use the eraser of a pencil.
To stop wooden floors from creaking, use baby powder or talcum powder in the cracks.
For Black Scuff Marks on Linoleum two things work for us - the bottom of your tennis shoes, just press and rub. Also, we use the flat, green scrub pads. They get the mark but not the finish.
Take a paper towel or old cleaning cloth and put a little dab of mayonaise on the cloth. Rub on scuff mark, and it will come out.
