second use- baby wipes containers
I thought we had a thread on this, but now I can't find it so will repost.
Let's list ways to recycle baby wipes containers.
I use them to store crayons here.If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. I think they are wonderful storage containers. I use them in my sewing room to hold all sorts of stuff.
Now I bet you are wondering why I have baby wipes right.......
I like to keep some of the cheap ones on hand for a quick cleanup for bathrooms (sinks, etc.) I have been known to give my own face a quick wipe off with them when I've been working in the yard and feel sticky as well.

I'm going to try using it for yarn for the "tangle factor". My wipes containers have a hole in the top, so I'm hoping to reuse it for this too. It's won't work for my supersaver skeins, but maybe for the smaller skeins.
I use them for stray matchbox cars too.If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. I usually get the refills because i have a wipe warmer. BUT these ideas are GREAT...i need a container for baby socks since they get lost in the drawer all the time, I'm going to buy a container use the wipes then i'll have something for socks.

OH and yes, i used to use cheapie wipes to wipe down the toilet when my son was potty training, and I used to wipe down the counters, microwave, and baby tray...maybe i should start again.

We use(d) them for crayons, Maggie socks, those tiny tapes for our video camera, small toys when baby was little (rattles, etc.), baby supplies (thermometer, bulb syinges, samples etc.) and other assorted household items.
We bought ours at BJ's, and for a while, you would get one box with 6 refills, so we ave more than I would like to have bought. Now it is possible to buy just the refills.

We have a few left over from our baby days (22 yrs. ago...can you believe that?!) and I use them store mostly crafty type items. Rubber stamp pads, funky scissors, paint pens, etc.... .

You could use them for mixing and storing homemade play doh, etc.
Use them in the garage or your storage area for nails, pliers, screwdrivers, batteries, etc.

in the yard they make great molds for sand castles and snow fort bricks.
also good for hoding seed packets and for all kinds of gardening uses. take one that has been cleaned out really well, make pin pricks in the bottom, all over. bury it up to it's rim (you can put the cover on it.) fill it with water and you can have a slow steady seepage of water that you can hide under a mound of leafy plants. Pop pen the top if you leave the top on and refill as needed every day or so, or leave the top off and let your usual watering fill the resivour for your plants.

I use these for craft supplies, small toys (especially useful in the car), & odds and ends for collages. I also use these to organize the free samples I get in the mail (one for shampoo, one for lotion, etc.) These are just so useful!

Use them to make a household first aid kit (or a take along kit for the car). Stock with bandaids, neosporin, bandages, bandage tape, tweezers, etc.

What to do with old travel size baby wipe containers??
I have found several travel size wipe containers around my house, after having 2 kids in diapers, for some reason I have collected about 6 of these travel/diaper bag wipe containers. I was just wondering if there is another use for them??
I have tried looking it up on-line, but can only find uses for the large wipe containers, not the travel size.
I already have a container in the car for quick and easy clean-up, plus the one in the diaper bag for actual diaper changing, I also gave one to dd to use for her dolls, but I don't know what to do with the rest of them. Any ideas???
Thanks in advance!!
