They make GREAT cat toys!

When making a large amount of popcorn, pop the corn and put in the bag, then add your melted butter and salt, close up and shake. Distributes the butter and salt evenly.
When we were kids and went to the drive-in mom always made popcorn like this, only I think 3 bags full, one for each area of the car! ROFL~~ Dee ~~

I like them for the kids to draw on and cut up for crafts. I don't get them often though. I used to make book covers from them wayyyyy back in the day. lol

I remember making book covers in school (it beat having to pay for slight damages only a teacher could notices at the end of the school year)
Also, after you draw and color on them you can use it as wrapping paper

Can't get them here unless you pay for them at Aldi's. I don't - I just get some of their cereal boxes.

Rarely get them around here, either -- it's plastic, or, at Aldi's, it's empty boxes.
Book covers were the first thing I thought of, too.
I just read the other night a recipe for making microwave popcorn in a brown paper bag.... but that's the lunch sized ones. Here's the recipe: http://www.recipezaar.com/71499

I use them for wrapping things to mail. They also come in handy around halloween and thanksgiving for costumes.

I only get pretty small ones from my fruit and veg but always get second use from them
I use them to drain food on - I don't buy kitchen paper.
They make a good
toy.
I use them for cardmaking, shred it up if i need a little bit of packing paper for a gift - or I rubber stamp the bag and use it as wrapping paper.
If I have no newspaper when I am cleaning the windows I will use a bag to get that shine. because obviously I clean my windows a lot

I use the thinner ones to back picture frames. You put a small bead of glue all around back of wood frame. Smooth paper over (can use craft paper too), then trim with an exacto knife. Slightly dapen paper, and as it dries, it shrinks slightly to get that professional look. I have also used a hair dryer to speed up the drying process.
edited to add, this helps seal the picture so debris (dust etc) doesn't alter your picture.

Oh my gosh Dee, My mom used to do the same thing for the drive in. I had forgotten all about that. Thanks for the memory
I also use them for mailing small packages. I take items to good will in them and they reuse them too.
