If the print is not on both sides, I tear it into sections and use it for making grocery lists, etc.

DD draws on the back of it.

Sometimes it gets shredded and put in the bottom of the garden bed. Depends on whether the ink smells like it might be petroleum based or not.

I'm saving the more colorful envelopes (the inside part that is usually a blue or black design) for a project I saw in Budget Living where you decorate the outside of a box with the different prins.

It doesn't even come home. We don't have home delivery, so I go through our mail before I even leave the post office. We have a box where all the junk mail goes and then its delivered to the recycle bin (by us - were the caretakers). I love that we don't even have to bring it home.

I saw a segment on the Carol Duvall (HGTV) show where they took those colorful envelope insides, then used markers to make them even more colorful and used to decorate homemade greeting cards and scrapbook pages. It looked intriguing to me, and I saved a few, but in reality it will be far into the future before I could get to such a project.

Those envelope insides could be great as a background for a mounted picture/photo.

As for the rest of the junk mail, I'll scrounge any stickers inside, and also pieces that have decorative frames on them to cut out and use at mats in picture frames.
