save money with tea and coffee

If you drink several cups of hot tea or coffee during the day, save money by making a thermos full when you make your first cup. That way you'll save on the electricity it takes to make the water hot, on the amount of tea or coffee you use and also on the time you spend making the drinks.

We don't drink coffee here. Dh drinks lots of tea. He only heats up a cupful of water at a time and he uses the teabag about 4 times before we throw it in the compost pile.

Do this all the time. We use a carafe once our coffee (perked on the stove) is made, doesn't last long though with 2 coffee hounds.

My husband drinks coffee. I go nuts if I see the coffe pot left on after the coffee is made. I try to get it in the thermos right away and shut off the coffee maker.
