A Random Tip
A product that you're unhappy with can sometimes be salvaged.
I bought a cheap brand of dishwasher detergent from a discount store, and it was pretty awful. I bought another inexpensive brand on sale at a different store, and it was lousy, too. But when I combine the two, the dishes come out looking great! The ingredients are such that they work synergistically, I guess.

I've used cheap shampoo that didn't work for me as handsoap in my dispensers. It's great that you mixed the 2 and got something good out of the deal. I hate it when I try a product and hate, hate it.

A word of caution...double check your ingredients before you mix products. It could be disasterous!

True, especially when you're dealing with cleaning products like ammonia and chlorine.
