Disaster preparedness tip
Just heard this on the news—if you are anticipating a natural disaster, storm, flood, etc. and need a dry place to store important papers put them in the dishwasher and lock the door b/c it has a water tight seal.

Good idea! One thought, if there were some problem with pipes breaking, would water go into the dishwasher?
