    Default Canned Frosting

I just read on another board that if you whip canned frosting for a few minutes with a mixer, it will double in volume ,so you can ice twice as many cupcakes and get less sugar and calories.

I am addicted to frosting! I can eat half a container with graham crackers. I try and walk right past in the store (never works).

You can also add one 8 oz. package of cream cheese to a container of canned frosting to make it tastier and go farther. Use electric mixer to beat it well till creamy.

Well I forgot to add that you can also add a little flavoring to the cream cheese/frosting combo to spark up the flavor, especially if using vanilla frosting. Try almond extract, orange, peppermint and vanilla. Almond and peppermint is killer in chocolate/cream cheese frosting. WooHoo!!!

Yummy!!! I was going to bake a fudge cake but roomie ate the chocolate frosting (out of the container) and left me with the vanilla frosting. Maybe I'll try doctoring it up to frost the cake. Thanks for the tip.
