Lets see what I do. I am sure there is more that is just habit and I don't realize I am doing it.
    1. I cut up old towels and use them as dishclothes.
    2. I use the netting from orange bags to put suet in for the outdoor birds.
    3. I use baby food jars to hold small scrapbooking brads, etc.
4.I reuse a knee hi to hold a bar of soap and tie it around my outdoor faucet
    5. I reuse liquid soap pump containers to put hand lotion in that come in a too large of a bottle.
    That is it for now.

I have started doing a number of things because of FV. Things that dont save the pocketbook but the earth.

I bring bags to the grocery store
empty cereal bags-put produce in at grocery store

and then I do things that save a little money:

use dishrags made from worn out towels
I put my leftovers in small empty jars-salsa, peanut butter, cottage cheese
use outdoor things to decorate-acorns, leaves, branches.

These are things I reuse or recycle daily:

All of my plastic grocery bags get recycled or used as my own garbage bags for the kitchen and bathroom. I haven't bought a package of garbage bags in over a year. Better for the earth and my pocketbook.

I reuse butter and sourcream containers. Over the summer I bought fresh cut up fruit to work in these containers. Now I am using these containers to bring my own homemade instant oatmeal to work (oatmeal, cinnamon, a pinch of salt, and a tblsp of sugar) I transfer this to a heat safe bowl at work and cut an apple into this mix and then add water and heat for 1 minute. It tastes much healthier and is more filling than the store bought instant oatmeal packets.

I bring my lunch in a canvas bag that I wipe clean and reuse everyday for my lunch. I take leftovers in a reusable leftover container and reheat in a heat safe bowl.

I have a whole set of free "cannisters", the large peanut butter jars with red lids(they all match). I keep tea bags, powdered sugar, brown sugar, sweetner, candy, anything that gets opened & needs a home. I can see what is in the jar & the stuff is protected from moisture & bugs. The water jug I keep in the fridge originally had apple juice in it. Net bags from onions can be wadded up & used to wash your car. They dislodge bug goo & tar. I have an empty tissue box on the dryer to put the lint in. I save the one tissue box that matches my bathroom & refill it by opening the end & sliding in new tissues & then taping it back together. I've reused the same one for maybe two years & when I mentioned it to my DD, she said she had never noticed. Also reuse plastic bags & plastic containers. I scavenged plastic containers that ground coffee came in & use to store fertilizer. It keeps it dry & the container has a handle. DH uses an empty laundry detergent bottle as a sharps container for his used insulin needles (a tip from his Dr.)

I forgot one. I have two buckets that are probably a gallon each that Margarita mix came in. I needed a large food quality container to transport soup to church & I used those. The minister kidded me quite a bit, but I am not giving up my buckets!!
