tip: keeping tub cleaner longer
After cleaning the tub really good. I put 2 thin turtle wax(cars) on the tub , wax on, dry off. Then its easier I find when i clean the tub from hard water, dirt, soap, etc.

Okay, I'm giving this a try. Keeping our tub clean is so hard with having the enamel etched in places. This may help our tub a lot. Thanks!

You could use it on the sides and not the floor if you're worried about slipping.

The floor is the dirtiest part so if I only used it on the sides I wouldn't even notice if it kept it cleaner since we shower more than bathe. I don't need to fall in the tub (again!) since last time I broke my tailbone.
So, does it make it slippery on the bottom or not?
My ex's grandma used to use turtle wax on ashtrays to make them easier to clean out. We don't smoke here so I haven't tried it.Last edited by HandyMom; 02-27-2009 at 01:22 AM.
