Try diatomacious earth you can buy at most feed stores , plant nurseries and organic shops. It is a naturally occuring product of unicelled plants from the ocean that contain silica in there bodies. Naturally they are DEAD but come as a fine powder that you dust on your animals and bedding. It WILL NOT HARM pets, people or the earth. The silican scratches the fleas bodies and they dehydrate and die. It can be spread on the lawn also. Suzi T.

This is what we use. It doesn't have an immediate effect on the fleas like a chemical bug bomb, but it does work. I spread it on my dogs and around the house. It was to difficult to treat our huge yard with it so we had to buy regular insecticide for that. At least I don't have to put chemicals in my house on on our pets.

Does it have to yellow lemon or can it be lime? Anybody have a tip to stop the itch after a flea bite?

I tried the light/soapy water method with my rabbit and it did not work. I must be doing something wrong. Help!!!

My bunny got a few fleas and I need to get rid of them. According to the vet, Rabbits cannot have the medicated flea control products.
