Default Decorative/Money Saving Way to Store Dish Soap

I purchased an inexpensive salad oil bottle at Target (around 3$) and have poured all my dish soap in it.

It sits near my sink, looks all sorts of pretty, and dispenses way less soap!

I have a hand pump next to my sink. It's a looks like an old fashioned lantern and it too dispenses less soap. Don't you just love it!

DD who coupons and works at a grocery store brought home the Dawn foaming dish liquid. I want to see if I can mix 1/2 soap and 1/2 water in that container at some point to see if that will work too.

By the way she bought a bunch for herself and is not getting married and leaving home until next June. It makes me wonder if I am creating stock pile monsters over here.

I'm going to get a liquid soap dispenser from Goodwill so I can keep a supply of dishwashing soap in my laundry room, too.

What an awesome idea, I'll have to keep an eye out for a good deal on one of those olive oil bottles!

I remember Martha Stewart doing that years ago on her show, but she never said what kind of bottle to use - just that we should have one cause it's prettier So in my laziness for research I never did it. I'll have to go find an salad oil bottle! TFS

My mom has always had a oil bottle for her dish liquid. It was handpainted to match her kitchen. I have no idea where she got it, but always thought it was adorable!

You can also dress up your dishbottle with the dishbottle aprons that someone posted in the sewing section of this site. I made a few for Christmas, here is the picture! They are super easy to make and cute, since you can match them to your kitchen!

I've done this for a couple of years now and am amazed at how little dish soap I use these days.

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~
