Homemade Fabreeze tip
Stumbled upon by accident: when I add the alcohol, water and fabric softener, all I had wintergreen scented rubbing alcohol. Was 2 for $1 at Dollar Tree, so I picked up 2. Well I used a few squirts of this and came up with a winter fresh, minty "fabreeze"!. The alcohol is tinted green, but I have made several batches with no problems on fabric and dryclean only clothing that I needed to freshen. I only use a little bit in the recipe. I used a free sample of fabric softener, the alcohol for pennies each, and reused a Fabreeze squirt bottle.

Doesn't fabreeze have some chemical that kills oders? Does this 'fabreeze' do that?

Fabreeze is pretty much fabric softener, water and some alcohol. There are a bunch of recipes on this forum, or if you google "homemade Fabreeze". Worth a try to save a few pennies!!
