Reuse cereal box bags
Hey ladies!!! Wanted to share this with you. I ALWAYS buy prepared pie crusts because I loathe making pie crust. My hubby always complains about it simply because they are not homemade, as he prefers everything homemade. I recently have stumbled upon a bulk pie crust recipe so I made a batch. It dawned on me all these years; the prepared crusts I have been buying is rolled up in the same plastic that the cereal bags are made of lol. So I tried rolling up a pie crust and rolled it up in an empty cereal bag that I cut to size. It worked great! Some of you may know this already but thought I would share in case there were others out there that are still learning the basics lol. I went on a pretzel craze a few months ago and have about five pounds of pretzels that I no longer can stomach, does anyone out there have any ideas what I can do with them.

I use them for when I freeze pancakes and french toast. Cut them up and slide between them to keep from sticking together. Just like wax paper.

I use them anytime I would have previously used waxed paper.

Jarediane: About the pretzels.
I remember growing up my parents would beat an egg, then dip chicken breasts, pork chops in the egg and then roll it in pretzel crumbs then baking it. It gave it a good flavor."We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen; For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

Can't go wrong by dipping the pretzels in chocolate! I've always wanted to try Strawberry Pretzel Salad. It sounds like it would be yummy(based on the ingredients). Anyone ever made it before?

The bags are great to use when breading chicken, etc.---put in the flour and seasonings, add the meat, close the bag, and shake away.
Plus they are so waxy that they work well to put in between hamburger patties and other things for freezing.
