I set a long couch table that I have out in my livingroom.
On to it goes a blue and silver table cloth that I've got. On to that goes my menorah. Next to the menorah on one side goes a large star of david candle that I've got and on the other side goes one shaped like a dridel. Alttile further out on the table go 4 speciality candle holders that I bought years ago at Bed, Bath and Beyond. For lack of a better would to discribe them 2 are yenta's and 2 are Tevia's. Will try to get a picture posted.
Oh, by the way I'm not of the jewish faith. But we have many friends who are and do this in honor of them. Our children have all been taught to respect everyones religious beliefs or lack of them. Dear sons one buddy was so pleased to see this display one night at our home he asked to say the blessing at dinner.

Decorating we don't do a lot of, but we have had a party for a few couples we are friends with. We called it a Latke & Vodka Party although the vodka never came out as all the women there happened to be pregnant We made Korean latkes, apple latkes, and Indian latkes. it was a lot of fun just hanging out with everyone.

    Hi
    Cheap Chanukkah Decorations..hmm.
I bought card stock .13 at JOANNS in a plain blue and traced shields on them and cut the out. I hole punched two holes on either side and tied them together with yarn. I used my gold gel pen (I keep it for my Schlach Manos bags) to inscribe Happy Chanukah on the shields and tacked it up on our table. I buy a large white posterboard .64 cents and the kids and I decorate a huge door placard complete with drawings of menorah's and candles kids are 9/7/5 so you can imagine but they are soo soo excited. We light with oil so we have a wick making party with the kids. Cheap plastic dreidels all over the place. gelt 5/1.00 at our local grocery and 3 rolls of shiny new pennies from the bank. Yes we have latkes with ketchup! my american kindele
and thats about it. I might if I can find at a dollar store make a blue and white paper chain. but my kids are young and this is such a little minor holiday I try to make it nice for them. Just thinkkid party with blue and white. So banner, streammers, (made from grocery plastic bags) tablecloth, Homemade cake with Blue frosting and plastic dreidels stu ck onn top, etc.
    Hope this help
