Copper Cleaner
1/2 C. flour
1/2 C. salt
1/2 C. soap flakes
3/4 C. white vinegar
1/4 C. lemon juice
1 T. whiting
1/2 C. very warm water
In a glass or enamel bowl, mix the flour, salt & soap together until soap is thoroughly dissolved. Add remaining ingredients, stirring well. Pour into a clean one-quart glass jar & cover tightly.
To use, shake the solution before using. Pour some of the paste on the copper item, then scrub gently with a sponge. Rinse, then dry. Buff lightly with a clean, soft cloth.
