Default What to do with T-shirts?

I have a bunch of t-shirts that I'd like to reuse. Short of making them into rags, anyone have any ideas?

I have made braided rag rugs in the past with them and also with old jeans.

My daughter made me a couple of dish towels and a pleated dishcloth (that I just LOVE!) out of an old T-shirt of mine.

i make the most absorbent diapers from mine.I have also used them to line the insides of "ladies personals"(a few layers are required)...and I have made rugs too - cut just under the sleeves, then cut into 1" strips-now you've made loops. Interlock the loops together & make rug yarn...crochet with a size Q hook(I believe that is the correct size...the big blue plastic one)

    Default uses for T-shirts

Was looking at the new year new home challenge. And saw someone mention they at to part with all their concert tshirts. I use mine for seat covers. The easily fit over the back of my van seats, well not the bench seat. Not only do they protect the front of the seat, but they cover the back to, so I don't end up with scuff marks from the kids feet. Please tell me my kids aren't the only kids that put their feet on the back of the car seats. Another thing to do with them would be to make squares for a quilt. Guess they would be big squares so you could get the picture of the front of the shirt, and use one of those tshirt sheets for the back of the quilt, would be very comfy to cuddle under on a cold night.

I'm probably not very inventive -- I use old t-shirts as dust rags. I have heard of someone who takes old t-shirts and cuts out squares to make quilts with them. I thought it was a good idea but I'm not much of a quilter.
