Save the bags from the inside of those cereal boxes to use as freezer wrap. Just slip your item inside and seal with freezer tape... (get as much air out as you can before sealing.... the cold air is what causes freezer burn..... This bag will protect well against freezer burn........

I use the bags as covers over things I microwave. I just tear off what I need and use it instead of fresh wax paper. I HATE plastic wrap and will NOT have it in the house. Using the bags saves us a lot. We only use a roll or so of wax paper a YEAR.

I have never heard of doing this. Man I wish I had known about it years ago when the boys were small. Thanks for the tip. Dh still eats cereal now and then.
