Default Tip I haven't seen on here

    My aunt is does this.

Instead of using the personal hygiene wipes from the store, she has a small container with vinegar and water. She has an piece of a scrapped t-shit in there and changes them every day.

I'm going to start doing this. Not a huge saving, but, environmentally friendly and frugal to boot - that's for me!

    Post witch hazel

Witch hazel can be used this way. That is what Tucks pads. Just use a really soft washable material.

I've been doing this with an old washcloth and witch hazel. Saves a ton of money and it's just like Tucks.

I love those things but they sure are expensive and wasteful. Great tip, I'm gonna see what I can come up with to substitute for them.

Thanks for the tip. I faguely remember seeing something on TV that said the ancient romans probably had a personal sponge and used vinegar for toilet paper in the baths.

Don't know why but this keeps popping up in my mind with all the frugal ideas. Although I don't know if I could do this. LOL

HA HA HA HA HA, Dear Sweet Heavens, PLEASE tell me you mean a T-shiRt.

I had to read it three times.

Not that I've never made typing mistakes like that!!!!

Oh, man, it felt good to laugh like that, today has been crappy (no pun intended, I swear.)

But on the serious side, cool idea!

I giggled at this too, but didn't want to be the one to point it out.

OMG I did mean t-shirts but it really is kind of an appropriate typo.

Thanks for pointing it out, I had a good laugh at that.
