WARNING: Foodlion Buy 6 Milks Get 7th FREE
Our Foodlions around here have a buy 6 get your 7th free with in a 2 month period.. normally i wouldn't buy that much milk.. but being pregnant and having WIC i am getting 5 milks a month and sometimes getting an extra milk to drink So WOOHOO.
I went to redeem my tickets ( thats all it tells you is to keep your tickets ) well the grocery ticket/slip/recipt isn't the right ticket. You have to tell the cashier that you want a milk ticket. They will need you foodlion card AGAIN and then have to slide a milk card and then it will print you out a coupon for free milks!!
Boy did i feel like a
when i went into foodlion with 3 "tickets" with 2 milks on each telling them i wanted to redeem them for my free milk. Cashier looking at me like you
. After some calm arguing it ended up the manager had to come print me out coupons so i could get my milk, which she was fine with it seems a lot of people have been doing the same thing.
I just wanted to let people know before they went to the store with "tickets" and ended up having a cashier look at yah like
wants milk and the whole line behind yah looking at you like
.

Actually it was nice of them to give you the milk. The store policy where I live doesn't include WIC purchases in their free stuff like that. When making a non WIC purchase at our foodlion the milk ticket will spit out of the coupon thing even if you don't use your foodlion card. You collect 6 of those and take them to customer service and they give you another coupon that is one that the cashier is able to scan for the free milk. At our store they don't allow WIC customers to take advantage of buy one get one free offers on cereal and peanut butter neither. The reasoning behind this policy at my local store is because in thier opinion the free items should go to WIC, not to the person who is using the WIC vouchers, because technically it is WIC buying the products.
