    Default Witch Hazel as Toner

I ended up trying witch hazel as a toner/astringent. I had heard it could be used this way. Well, I would keep on using it but the smell of it really repulses me. Does anyone add anything to it like tea tree oil, just to help with the smell?

    Thanks in advance.

I have Thayer's witch hazel in the rose scent. It IS more $$ than the plain store brand or NN brand. But is a fairly big bottle and still a bargain compared to toners I've seen. Especially since I only use it when I've worn foundation (after washing). Lasts a while. I got mine at ----hmmmm----Meijer's? Don't buy it at health food stores, they want a fortune for it.
