Burt's Bees has a coconut foot cream that works wonders, it can be pricey. I'm going to try the dollar store ethnic section for coconut oil. If it is cheaper and works, why not? I've always used Vicks on my sore nose when I have a cold. I'm going to tell my sister who has eczema about using Vicks. I never thought of that before. Thanks for the tips.

I have this horrible habit of biting my fingers, so it'd be like putting soap on my fingernails to keep me from biting them...

    and that was totally gross.

My fingers crack to the point where they hurt so bad and they bleed. Putting lotion on my hands to keep them soft isn't good because no matter what lotion I use, my hands feel all sorts of greasy. I'd try the Vicks thing if DH wasn't grossed out by the smell. Thank you for the tip, though!

And omg, did we just get someone named Tisha joining FV?

Plain Vaseline (I buy the generic store brand) or plain Crisco works well too. Mint and eucalyptus can be skin irritants, I avoid them since my skin is highly sensitive, particularly to fragrances.
