more on being a consumer, or ... PART 2
My husband and I were looking at new cookware today and we went to about 5 places. We then decided to go back to this one store because the set had a veggie steamer pot and a spagetti strainer pot.
We go back and cerefully look over the display...
they have a display of it with all the peices out carefully secured to a metal rack area.... we are wanting some top notch lifetime stuff and we then decide to get it and put the box in the cart.
We see a new view of the box ( its a big heavy box) and the carton does not look like the display. We ask the manager about it and he said when they put the display up, they did it wrong and the set we are buying does not have all those peices.
So, I tell him how we went to 5 stores today looking and came back to that store to buy that set because of the items we saw on the display.
He said that the old cookware was already sold, so he gave us all the extra peices in the display FREE when we bought the set !
I was very happy
but for reason my husband has had a headache all day.
Guess shopping isn't for him.
but hooray on the fantastic deal and extra free peices of cookware !!!!!!

Good deal! Sometimes looking things over well can be a pain in the head (or other places). But you wallet should feel good.

Great purchase. Lucky you.
" May we never let the things we can’t have or don’t have or shouldn’t have spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. As we value our happiness, let us not forget it. One of the greatest lessons in life is learning to be happy without the things we cannot or should not have."

being the right person at the right place...
at the right time
in other words, no magic tricks, just careful observation and letting people know when they are advertising deceptiveley.
