Wow! That's so cool! Epsom salts are really cheap, too. I already knew about the coffee grounds & egg shells. I've been doing those just to keep from having to throw them away!

Another really great garden/plant fertalizer is fish tank water. Aside from the cost of the tank/fish etc when doing water changes instead of pouring the water down the drain..water your plants (assuming there are no damaging chemicals). When I am done with the plants/garden, I put the rest on "sad" looking parts of my grass. If you don't have a tank, ask a neighbour that you know does! The plants love fish poop.

I've been wanting to get our tank into service again. This may be just the right motivation for DH! Fish poop = big peppers. Love it!
