In place of sweet, sickening car air fresheners, use cloves in the ashtray. Any health food store that carries bulk items will have cloves. It's long lasting and very aromatic.

I have also heard that cinnamon sticks will work as well. They are more expensive, but you could buy during the holidays and cut them in half.

Those are great tips! Thanks! My sister also tears out the purfume samples in magazines and hides them in her car. It always smells good! I like the cinnamin and clove idea better cuz perfume makes me sneeze!!
