Inexpensive Antiwrinkle Cream?
I have to face the facts ... my face has lots of wrinkles when I look into that magnifing mirror. Without my glasses on, I still look pretty good! There are so many advertisements and products out there who claim if you only use their product you will see the difference in only 3 weeks... the wrinkles will disappear and your face will uplift. The problem is that one would almost have to take out a 2nd mortgage to be able to buy all this stuff. I wonder if anyone knows of something that actually works and doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

I've been using the equate eye cream and can't tell any difference between it and the more expensive Mary Kay eye cream except that it's thicker and less expensive. I'm currently using Ponds night time moisturizer for day and night moisturizing...but when it's gone I'm gonna try the equate collagen stuff that someone raved about here.......hope this helps. Oh and my best advice would be to throw away that magnifying mirror.....

The best anti wrinkle cream is a good sunblock, used faithfully every day. For moisture , drink water and apply your face creams.I always look for one with glycerin.

Thanks! I got some really good suggestions ... I've never heard of equate eye cream. Where do you get it? I've used Ponds before and liked it and it is inexpensive compared to a lot of creams. With Avon products, which ones are good? They all seem rather expensive to me. I hate to put that kind of money on my face unless it definitely would show the difference! I hadn't been using a sunblock because I'm not outside very much because of the hours I work, but I just got some and decided to use that as a moisturizer before putting on my makeup.

I have tried lots of items for face and under eye moisture.....the last few months I have been using "Loreal, Hydro-moisture" seems to be working for me so far, (between dry air and hard water). Anyway, I also use it under my eyes. I get this at Target or Walmart for about 6.97 a jar......this last sunday there were coupons for this item.
I also agree about staying out of the sun and using SPF products.
On the inside:
drink lots of water
eat fish, (if not take a omega supplement).

Try Olay or Neutrogena. I think Olay has pretty advanced anti aging lines and neutrogena would be my second choice. Those are the best drugstore brands that are on the cheaper side compared to department store brands.
If you are looking for a "natural" cheap remedy, try organic coconut oil, jojoba oil, or extra virgin olive oil, LIGHTLY of course... They also have some oils/cream they sell online like http://laventine.com/face_lotion.asp May seem expensive but a little goes a LONG way. Just look at the ingredients. I think it's more of your money worth than most department brands since you are just paying for the name. I suggest going to makeup alley to look at reviews as well.Back on the frugal bandwagon for the third time and hoping to slash my debt by the end of 11' and start saving again!

Oh I also wanted too add maybe try vitamin e oil/cream. There is this line out by Jason's Organics which costs roughly about 7 bucks or maybe try their cheaper version. Here's a link http://www.vitacost.com/Jason-Vitamin-E-Oil-45-000-IU It's a combination of oils like vitamin e, rosehip, etc. good for maturing skin.

Stay out of the sun, use sun screen and get regular Botox injections. Seriously, it's the only thing that really works.

Oh I'll probably get a laugh or two out of this one. I worked with this lady who had beautiful skin, smooth no wrinkles, so all of us went out for christmas dinner one year and I asked her what she used, before she answered she asked me how old I thought she was and I said about 55, she was 74 years old. She said she used preparation H since she was a teenager on her face. I did try it but didn't like the smell. I use vitamen E cream that is about $2 and it works just fine.

the BEST cheapest thing you can do for your skin is GOOD oil free sunscreen EVERY DAY on your face, neck AND hands
and LOTS and LOTS of water
and cross your fingers because about 70% of aging is genetic

I order Retin-A from Mexico and use Emu Oil.
In the interest of full disclosure, I'm only 33, but most people guess me to be in my mid-20's.

I'd look at what Cher and Madonna do. I heard something that Cher drinks tons of water, which is something I wish I could do. The water quality here in Calgary is disgusting and I was forced to drink canteens of water really fast during Marine Corps basic training. Basically now when I want a drink of water, I feel completely nauseous.

I was wearing SPF sunscreen on my face but I ended up breaking out alot from it, so I stopped wearing it. I do alot of sunbathing in the summer and to be completely honest, I don't want to look like a ghost all my life.
