    Default DD's B'day Party Today

I am getting ready for DD's party... just put the loot bags in a bag... gathered the clothes she will change in to (in the car), put new batteries in the camera... only thing left is to bring it all to the party site and then get DD from school.

I invited 21 kids to the party. It's right after school... They have gym today, so they are already in comfy clothes and not their formal uniform.

Cake -- bought a 1/2 sheet cake for 21 kids (and their siblings who will tag along and of course, parents) --- I know, not frugal, but with no fridge, I didn't really have another option- $27

Drinks -- I will pick up a few big bottles of fruit punch and a gallon water -- $4

    Candle - $1

    Loot bags /filler -- $18.00 for 20 bags!!!!!
    bags - $1 for 20
    bubbles - $7 for 21
    play-doh - $3 for 24
pencils- $4 for 48 (2 per kid, the rest goes to DD's stock)
    lollipops - $1 for 32
    mallow-ropes - $2 for 20
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

Good job--$50 for everything is not bad at all! Where are you having the party?

I was just thinking the same thing....you did REALLY good for that many kids. But how about the party site, do you have an expense for that?

My ex and his parents (who am I kidding... his parents ) are paying for the site. With that many kids, I knew no matter what we did, it would be costly...

JUMP ON IN is where it is. The site costs turn out to be about $10/ each child.

Happy birthday to your DD! It sounds like everyone is going to have a great time. You did well on the expenses.
