    Default I bought 15lbs of Hamburger that was on sale for $1.99 lb..Haven't see it any cheaper

    I feel like patting myself on the back right now...LOL.. I just got done making 24 lemon size meatballs that I'm flash freezing on a cookie sheet for future meals..I made 6 huge hamburgers(will make more..but thats all that will fit on the cookie sheet..I'm flash freezing these too..) I probably will make another 6burgers..Whatever is left I will boil,drain and put into freezer bags..Thanks for listening to me brag...

    That's a wonderful price. I like to get it when it's less than $2 a pound. Do you have a Sam's club near you? They have really good prices on ground beef. I believe I payed $1.78 for 80% and 90% was about $1.98. It may vary a little depending on where you live though. Of course, they come in bulk of like 7 pounds or so, but that's fine with me, because I divy them up into patties, and cook ground beef, make meatball and meatloaves. Then stick them in the freezer.

    That is an excellent deal! The price of meat anymore makes me want to cry every time I put it in the buggy!

    Yes we do have a Sam's Club in Kingston, N.Y...the last time I was there was about 2 weeks ago and they wanted $2.39 lb..In all honesty I like Price Choppers meat better then anyone elses. Where is the Sam's Club located where you live?
