    Default Walnut Cream Pie

This is a special occasion favorite around here. It is a little pricey to make but so worth it! I got this recipe from my M-I-L.

    Walnut Cream Pie

    8 ounces cream cheese, softened
    14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
    3/4 cup cold water
1 4-oz. pkg. vanilla pudding mix
    1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup broken pecan or walnut pieces, lightly toasted
    1 graham cracker pie crust

In a large bowl, combine condensed milk and cream cheese, beating on medium speed until smooth. Add water and pudding mix, mixing well.
Wash beaters. In a small bowl, beat whipping cream on high speed until soft peaks form. Gently fold whipped cream and 3/4 cups of the nutmeats into the other ingredients.

Pour into pie shell, mounding gently. Garnish with remaining nuts.

Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

    Yield: 1 - 9 inch pie

That just sounds absolutely decadent to me! Thank you for the recipe.

This looks delicious. And would be a good recipe to add to the cookbook forum which is for tried and true recipes.
