Lol, I ended typing a post to your last response and thought it sounded a little dirty(even though I didn't mean it too) and backspaced on the meat cleaver post and left it simple. heh.

IDK, I might check into some help maybe...? Is this a Canadian thing?

Sounds better than banging them on the kitchen counter, I suppose.

Nah, I feel immoral talking about this even since I'm a vegetarian.

Stick a butter knife between the two and bang the entire clump onto the countertop. It'll force the knife down into the chicken breasts and split them.

You should be able to defrost the meat in the refrigerator. Just take your time to defrost it. Once the chicken breasts are separated wrap each on in some saran wrap and refreeze in a freezer bag.

Did this once with a bag of lamp chops and worked out well.

I grew up with the notion that once meat is defrosted if had to be cooked before refreezing. Turns out it can be defrosted in the refrigerator and then refrozen.

I'm a 'butter knife' girl... just like frozen hamburgers... slide the knife in and pry them apart.

If it is 'extra stuck' I run warm water over the butter knife and I can get it through the ice, once I am in, it's all pry pry baby!

I get nervous about the freeze, thaw, refreeze thing.
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!
