Thank goodness for crockpots. We received one as a gift with three ceramic inserts of different sizes - love this flexibility!!

Oh wonderful, I have just recently dug out the crockpot as I am tired after work most evenings and its so tempting to go out to eat. Its so great to come home to dinner being ready instead. Thanks for the link.

I love this site... I found it about a year ago.
She always has such good recipes with easy to find ingredients. I like the information she shares with us about gluten free cooking too, something I don't need, but I always like to learn about cooking for different dietary restrictions (I have a good friend that is lactose intolerant and it's quite a challenge to cook for her).Kim

My daughter and her bf did not like the peach cobbler recipe AT ALL and I loved it and devoured it. So I should make a half recipe next time 'cause I totally ate it up by myself.

This is a similar website - she did not know about the Year one, and has also published a cookbook, 365 Days of Slow Cooking . I've enjoyed a number of her recipes.
