Make Your Own Bacon
This was posted on my facebook and I thought I'd share. I would love to try it but don't have a smoker. Any ideas how to smoke meats without a smoker?

My Mom was telling me a recent episode of Martha Steward had her smoking bacon in her oven... 200F for (I don't remember how many hours) with wet wood chips in a pan on the bottom. She saved the episode for me but it's probably online as well.
I would love to make my own bacon one day.

Oooh! Thanks!
Cea, I don't have an exhaust fan over my stove so I probably shouldn't try it lol.
The gas grill one sounds easy, thanks Nancy.

We smoke quite a bit and I can't even stand to put leftovers in the fridge because then everything smells like smoke. I have to put it in the fridge in the garage or freeze it right away.
Also, if you have a smoker going, mix up a big can of mixed nuts and some minced garlic, put it in a disposable pan, cover with foil, and let it smoke for a couple of hours ~ the best snack ever!
