Default Looking for low cal/low sugar popsicle ideas

I am having to monitor dd13 intake But I don't want to deprive her of cool summer treats, she's a kid!

She loves the flavors of crystal light, name brand or generic, we are able to get Crystal light slurpies. Those are occasional. We camp a lot and I make popsicles. But they are high sugar, which she is to minimize, so we were wondering if it could be made with a Crystal light(generic)?

And any other lower sugar/cal ideas for cool cold treats welcome! I know I'm getting together with dh aunt who is diabetic, she does amazing diabetic baking for those occasional indulgences. I didn't even know they were altered, she's amazing.

You can take any juice/prepared drink mixes and make popcicles. Enjoy!
She'd probably like to make this, just use sugar free alternatives.

I am not sure about low sugar, but pureed frozen pops are good. Minute maid makes some that I like. I believe they are only the fruit with no sugar added, but I am not positive.

I get them because I am lactose intolerant and just recently found out that I can't have soy either.

Can she have some of the low sugar or no sugar added ice creams? The ones I have tried in the past taste just fine.

    Good Luck!

    pureed and frozen strawberries . . . ymmmm. . . .

how about making your own Popsicles with diet kool-aid and diet jello?

make your own low cal pudding pops with diet pudding mix, low fat milk, low fat cool-whip.

One of my favorite "ice cream" treats (also can't have lactose or soy products) Banana freeze. . .

    1 cup water

    3/4 cup sugar substitute

1 envelope Kool-Aid cherry or black cherry unsweetened soft drink mix

    2 large fully ripe bananas

Combine all ingredients in electric blender container. Blend at high

speed for about 1 minute, or until smooth. Pour into a shallow

container or bowl. Freeze until firm, about 3 hours. Spoon into

individual dishes or cones. Makes 5 servings

What about making popsicles with the Crystal Light or generic brands? Or try freezing some CL into cubes and mix flavours to get traditional flavours a twist. IE lemon lime CL w/raspberry ice cubes.

You can make frozen pudding pops using sugar free instant pudding mix.

Sugar free gelatin dessert - classic

Another 'all natural' alternative: puree some fruits and mix in some yoghurt & a lil honey or agave (or omit altogether if preferred) and freeze in popsicle molds.
