    3/4 c. butter
    2 eggs
    2 tbsp. vanilla extract
2 med. cooking apples, peeled, cored and chopped
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, divided
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped pecans

Thank you!! I can't wait to tell my friend about them all! It is hard to find good blonde brownie recipes.

I had to google the "bits of brickle". It is Heath bar bits. Oh my... That sounds heavenly! I am tempted to make up a double batch and take half to her and keep half to eat myself.
