Thank you for posting this. Chelle made snickerdoodles last week and I was showing her pictures of the cookies I had tried. The picture you posted looks just like the snickerdoodle recipe I have been looking for. (there are so many different types out there)
Wahoo! Thanks. I'll be trying this soon.

I am so glad you posted these. As Sara said, I made some last week, and while they were delicious, they were a lot "puffy-er" than the ones you posted....I am going to try your recipe

One of my favorite cookies! Kitchen aid mixers sure make mixing a breeze.

Yum, I haven't had snickerdoodles since I was about ten! I need to get some of these made. They look great.

Ok, I have to ask. I've made snickerdoodles twice, from different recipes, and both time they came out tasty, but small and puffed. They don't look spread out and flat like yours.
Any ideas what's going on?

Michelle~Not sure what went wrong. These were the first snickerdoodles I have ever made and they spreaded just fine lol
LMK if you try them....

LOL I did try them (I used your recipe and another). They were good, but had a cake like consistency rather than a cookie one. Good, but they didn't look like the picture you posted, so I"m wondering if they would taste differently if they looked like yours.

hmmmm I have no idea. Mine seemed cake like when I got them from the oven(I didn't think they were done at first) but after they cooled, they were more cookie like.
Maybe they're cooking to fast...?!
I'm sorry I can't help you
Maybe someone reading can. I wished they would've turned out better. They really are good cookies lol
