Help me learn to like pork

I make a dish I call porta rican rice & beans~that uses that and something called recaito which is a mixture of peppers, onions and cilantro.~Pigeon peas..or gandules...and olives with it.

That sounds really good. Is there pork in it, too? I am always looking for different variations on the rice and bean theme, since we eat those A LOT. I haven't had Puerto Rican food before, but I love Cuban food, and I suspect there are similarities.

P.S. My DH can't stop telling people how happy he is that I am trying some pork dishes since he loves pork. I do all the cooking, and he eats whatever I serve without complaint, but he is ecstatic that I am expanding my horizons.
